There are a few various ways to reach out.

When you post in this section, your post can look at the top of the Neighbor Posts page. If it receives enough attention and engagement, it could likewise appear on the homepage for your community or within an email sent to local readers.

You can also answer any other posts you see on Patch, to greatly help reply to your neighbors’ questions and take part in local discussions. We encourage neighbors to come together to help each other understand their community better ? because Patch reporters can’t catch everything, and it takes a village to help keep track of what’s happening on the floor.

Adding your event to the Patch Community Calendar is a wonderful solution to boost attendance and let neighbors know about fun stuff happening near them. If the thing you’re posting about includes a date and time, it will always be posted being an event.

Once posted, your event can look in the primary Calendar section for the community, and sometimes in other event preview sections across Patch and in emails to readers. To boost your listing and present it extra visibility, you may also pay to market it as “Featured” across the region for $1 each day per community. (Plus, your cash can help support more local journalism in the communities you value!)
